Company accounts filed for you. Every year, on time.
From 1 April 2027, Companies House only takes accounts filed through software. Tell us a few things once a year and we prepare and file your dormant or micro-entity accounts.
for accounts closes
After that date, paper and WebFiling accounts are no longer accepted, dormant companies included. Small and micro companies must also file a profit and loss account.
What 1 April 2027 changes for you
Until now
- File free on the Companies House website
- Micro companies file a balance sheet only
- Abridged and filleted accounts allowed
From 1 April 2027
- Accounts must be filed through software, tagged in iXBRL
- Small and micro companies add a profit and loss account
- Abridged accounts end. Year End Sorted handles all of it
How your filing gets sorted
Your company, found
Enter your company number. We pull your details and filing deadline from the public register.
A few plain questions
Once a year we ask what happened, in plain English. Dormant companies usually answer two.
Accounts, tagged
We build your accounts in the iXBRL format Companies House needs from April 2027, and check them against last year.
Filed and confirmed
We file them and email you when they're accepted. Next year, we remind you again.
Which plan do you need?
Three questions. Most people get this wrong because one bank charge or a little interest means a company isn't dormant any more.
Dormant
Your company looks dormant. We file dormant accounts each year and watch the register for anything that needs you.
What a missed deadline costs
Founding prices, fixed while you stay
Pay for your first year now to reserve the price. Nothing is filed and nothing renews until we open in early 2027, and you can have your money back at any point before then.
Dormant
For companies that haven't traded and have no money moving through them.
- Dormant accounts prepared and filed
- Reminders from your own filing deadline
- We watch the register and tell you if anything is filed against your company
Micro-entity
For small trading companies: under £1m turnover, fewer than 10 staff.
- Balance sheet and profit and loss prepared from your figures
- Checked against last year's filing before it goes
- Filed in iXBRL and confirmed when accepted
Prices include everything. No VAT added on top, no setup fee.
Three promises
No renewal surprises
We email you 30 days before any renewal. Cancel by replying to that email.
Straight answers
Dormant or not, CT600 or not: we tell you plainly which applies to your company and why.
Your price stays put
Founding customers keep the price they signed up at for as long as they stay.
Questions
Is this live yet?
Not yet. We're taking founding pre-orders so we can open in early 2027, ahead of the 1 April change. Your pre-order is refundable on request, and refunded automatically if we don't open or can't file for you.
What if my company starts trading?
Tell us and we'll move you to the Micro-entity plan. You only pay the difference for that year.
Do you file the Corporation Tax return (CT600) too?
Not at launch. We're starting with Companies House accounts. If HMRC has accepted your company as dormant, you usually don't need to file a CT600. If you've been sent a notice to file one, tell us at checkout and we'll take that into account.
What do I need to give you?
Your company number and authentication code, plus a few figures for the year if you're trading. We pull everything else from the public register.
Who is behind Year End Sorted?
Year End Sorted is a trading name of Upwren Ltd, a UK company registered in England and Wales. Full details are at the bottom of this page.
Set it up once. Never think about Companies House again.
